Ian R Smith Posted February 8, 2013 Report Share Posted February 8, 2013 Hi, It's possible depending on the brand of Firewall your college are using that any VPN or Proxy software would need to be whitelisted in the Firewall for them to work properly. ProXPN free accounts are limited to 300kbps, and I wouldn't think would be suitable for torrent downloads, although the Premium package is unlimited and comes with a VPN Guard designed to exit your torrent software if for some reason your VPN connection drops out.
