vze2mp9g 15 Report post Posted February 5, 2013 The µTorrent 3.3 Stable build 29038 "Language Pack" at http://www.utorrent.com/scripts/dl.php?build=28500&client=utorrent on the Download page http://user.utorrent.com/downloads is different than the automatically downloaded from µTorrent 3.3's Help | Download Translation menu.... Which one is the latest/correct one? They're both out of date. I just updated them' date=' though. If you use the one in the help menu, you should get an updated copy.[/quote']That's great! I just did a fresh install of Windows 7 SP1 Ultimate, and installed uTorrent 3.3. Haven't tested it yet, but where can I get the updated ones from, what's the link?Thank You. lennyl0518 0 Report post Posted February 5, 2013 Is this download a new version of utorrent plus? I have utorrent plus and I had an issue converting from utorrent to utorrent plus when I bought a new PC. I was given instructions and all worked well, so utorrent plus is now installed on my new pc. When I check for updates to 3.2.3, it tells me there are none available at this time? If I download 3.3, will I still have utorrent plus? Thank you-LL

LeKing 0 Report post Posted February 5, 2013 buffer flush to disk fails continously at dl ; pieces tab show plenty pieces completed waiting into buffer ; problem seems to be correlated with dht nodes climbing to many thousands. msn wood burning screen saver facilitates the problem by consuming heavy cpu cycles... cable connection limitates dht growth ; dht bugs specifically with dsl connection ; lost data packets seem very bad managed ! Beasly 82 Report post Posted February 6, 2013 The term Stable refers to a version of software that is substantially identical to a version that has been through enough real-world testing to reasonably assume there are no significant problems, or at least that any problems are known and documented. Beasly 82 Report post Posted February 6, 2013 I have them documented, does that count ?I'm just sayin it may have been a bit premature to release this to stable.I understand that users here have the option to test the alphas, betas, etc. and report what they find but how about the devs? Largely ignored, of course, so I've given up.
rafi 185 Report post Posted February 7, 2013 disk overloaded again weird, wasnt getting it with 3.3 alphaAnd this is probably the root cause - http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?pid=708698#p708698The cache seems to fill up , and most writes to disk are being help until it does even at lowest speeds. I guess the new IO system effects the cache handling. Actually, I think it has improved over in past versions/early-alpha releases of 3.3, but somehow, some bugs got into it... I'm sure they are making an effort to iron them all out as we speak...I maintained a huge list of bugs for a few versions too. Largely ignored, of course, so I've given up.Don't give up... yet... Or, send me your list...

Baz6667 1 Report post Posted February 7, 2013 I have this version started to work badly - freezes when pressed, does not close and remain in the process; locks files (as if opening them and forgets to close), and sometimes dies check the hash (like the program tries to open the file indefinitely and can not). Maybe I have a problem with the hard drive, but I think that in this case, the program should not hang.

Lord Leks Darkmind 0 Report post Posted February 7, 2013 i take it, there was no update for, like, past 7 days? (and still waiting for update of the first post with version and changelog)as for Q`s, that some lazy ppl been asking:1. yes, it eat`s a lot of ram. no matter the settings. without reason.2. yes, disk overload issues. no matter the speed or settings.3. there are reports of install problems (did`nt occur on my pc, can`t verify)PS: YES, that pre-alpha-buggy version is called stable for now. deal with it. hopefully, they`ll fix it soon.(if you can find 28910, you can use it - works rather well for me)
