cndrocker Posted February 6, 2013 Report Share Posted February 6, 2013 I will load a torrent, it starts downloading, then i close utorrent for whatever reason and when i open it again the torrent is gone. if i re-load the same torrent it resumes from where it left off.sometimes when i open utorrent, torrents that have either been long deleted or long finished and removed appear again with error saying it can not be found. this continues despite continuing to delete the torrent and even files themselves. ciaobaby Posted February 6, 2013 Report Share Posted February 6, 2013 Preferences -> Advanced -> make sure that bt.graceful_shutdown is set to true AND allow time for all running processes to complete before turning your computer off. Especially if you are running more than a few dozen jobs.That way it doesn't have to load an old resume.dat because the newest is damaged by not being saved fully.
