grusio20 Posted May 1, 2006 Report Posted May 1, 2006 I see that any bt client have a identification of peers, ( local of remote in the area where are connected peers ). Can you to do the same field that have a bitcomet or azureus. Then the user know to what peer are connected.. local or remote ( behind the NAT )
Yenkaz Posted May 1, 2006 Report Posted May 1, 2006 So basicly, you want to know if the peers you're connected to is behind a NAT.What's the point?
grusio20 Posted May 1, 2006 Author Report Posted May 1, 2006 hmm i whan to know if the peer i'm connected have a public ip (local ) or it's behind the NAT ( remote ip, )
Firon Posted May 1, 2006 Report Posted May 1, 2006 I don't think you understand what local and remote are. It's referring to if you made the connection (local), or if you received the connection (remote).http://www.utorrent.com/faq.php#How_can_I_tell_if_a_peer_is_an_incoming_or_outgoing_connection.3F
