DreadWingKnight Posted February 16, 2013 Report Posted February 16, 2013 Using BT Guard as proxy server. There's your problem.
cento1969 Posted February 17, 2013 Author Report Posted February 17, 2013 OK...So I guessing your saying...BT Guard is not compatible with utorrent or I'm still not configured right/or there's a conflict? They claim they are compatible... yep without BT Guard all working. But then 'ERROR write to disk' appears, torrent crashes...So whats the best way to hide your IP address? and not get throttled by ISP probably (try another torrent).I've done proxy server from my browser, but can only get transparent IP's... not fool prove... ???Really enjoyed using utorrent in the past, now seems alot at stake Still need help and direction on a simply and the best way to download and use utorrent... anonymously of course...Please help... cento1969...
DreadWingKnight Posted February 17, 2013 Report Posted February 17, 2013 DHT won't work with the proxy employed by BTGuard.Any problems you're having torrenting while using BTGuard fall under BTGuard's support boundaries, and not ours.
