KimiRaikkonen
Wondered if anyone could help me.Why with the default setting for download threshold do I get this problem:Also, despite my port unblocked by firewall and router, why can I only connect to peers and not seeds when I choose to just set the port manually rather than using NAT-PMP Upnp or Upnp> if however I use those two it works fine. ciaobaby
The method of how the port is forwarded makes no difference to the communication, and a job with seeds of 0(0) is not likely to EVER complete as there probably ARE no seeds for those jobs. KimiRaikkonen
Okay, but why is the client downloading some files and queuing others? it makes no sense!
ciaobaby
Probably because have told the client that's how many active jobs you allow at any one time.Preferences -> Queueing
KimiRaikkonen
Its not, I have that set to 3 maximum 2 downloading. Also I have download threshold at the default value. If i stop and resume them, they go queued again, but after a while, it happens again. DreadWingKnight
And what order are the torrents set in (enable the "#" column)
KimiRaikkonen
They are set in queue order, from first to last.
DreadWingKnight
So have you stopped all the torrents and restarted them yet?
KimiRaikkonen
Yes, that temporarily fixes the problem usually, but after a while the same happens again.Could this be related to having the download on an external USB drive? ciaobaby
Its not, I have that set to 3 maximum 2 downloading.Which based on your screenshot is EXACTLY what is happening. The two jobs that are FIRST in the queue are actively downloading. KimiRaikkonen
There are several others all listed as downloading instead of queued?
KimiRaikkonen
So theres no answer to this? Is a bug they appear as downloading?
ciaobaby
It's just how the various thresholds have determined what state to report to the GUI
KimiRaikkonen
But its still a bug right? they should only appear as queued if they aren't downloading.
ciaobaby
not until it can be reproduced. Having only two active downloads from a list of thirty plus using default setting IS causing the client to "work" much harder than it needs to in calculating which job should be in what state.Try stopping fifteen or twenty of your jobs so they play no part in the queue then see how it performs. KimiRaikkonen
Here we are with less, doing the same thing.
KimiRaikkonen
Okay I seem to know why this problem is happening. The torrents that are showing downloading, but not are missing all trackers. For some reason all the trackers have disappeared, any ideas?Edit* If I add trackers it works fine, but wonder why they are missing.
