ScottyG
I started a torrent in uTorrent and it allocated all of the space needed. I then removed the torrent and continued in FrostWire because uTorrent was downloading rather slow. I didn't touch the files in the download destination so FrostWire could check for files. Now FrostWire is downloading to the same exact destination, but seems to be using more space. As the torrent downloads, will FrostWire overwrite in the pre-allocated space? Thanks
ScottyG
I figured it out myself. FrostWire saw that the file names were taken and renamed the new files. Pretty much renamed "cool stuff.jpg" to "cool_20stuff.jpg" in order to prevent wanted information from being overwritten. So now I must go back and delete all of the files the were used by uTorrent to regain the space. It makes perfect sense.
ciaobaby
FrostWire saw that the file names were taken and renamed the new files. No it is not that it, it is simply URL Encoding the file names, where a space is represented as %20. However, as '%' is an illegal character in file name it uses an underscore character instead.
