bur
I recently noticed that utorrent often bans peers for sending too many pex messages. It seems this behaviour is known for quite some time. And if these peers violate a rule, than a ban is fine with me.But the banned peers are all using utorrent. So some utorrent clients apparently violate a rule about too many pex messages. And if my client bans others, there's a good chance I'm also banned sometimes since I'm also using utorrent...Why are at least some utorrent clients (and I've never seen azareus or others getting banned) behaving in a way that is deemed ban-worthy by the utorrent devs? And how can I make sure my own client isn't doing exactly the same, therefore getting me banned as well?
bur
Does nobody know why this happens?I just think it's strange that utorrent bans itself for behaving badly. And apparently it's been doing this for quite a long time already...
