How do I determine my port?

Sorry if this is a stupid question or if this has already been answered elsewhere, but I'm somewhat new to this.

I'm trying to configure my Norton Firewall settings to stop the crashes it causes when running uTorrent. I'm following the relevant directions for Norton on the "Software Firewall Configurations" topic. However, it includes the following instructions:

Make sure your NIS Firewall configuration for µTorrent program contains two rules: an Inbound rule to permit TCP and UDP connections from any computer to the single local port your µTorrent is listening on and an Outbound rule to permit TCP and UDP connections to any computer on all ports.

How do I determine that single local port the instructions describe? Sorry if this is a dumb question, but honestly, I'm not even sure what that means. I understand how to specify the port in the Norton rules, but I'm not sure how to figure out which port I need to be specifying in the rule.
