CrashRainbow Posted March 24, 2013 Report Posted March 24, 2013 Look at the ratio on the last one, compared to its filesize and amount uploaded!Ideas? :/PS: Mac OS X 10.7.5, utorrent Version 1.8.3 (29330).
ciaobaby Posted March 24, 2013 Report Posted March 24, 2013 The ratio is based on what you DOWNLOAD NOT the total size of the torrent.
CrashRainbow Posted March 24, 2013 Author Report Posted March 24, 2013 The ratio is based on what you DOWNLOAD NOT the total size of the torrent. So this would make sense if I'd downloaded only a part of it?
ciaobaby Posted March 24, 2013 Report Posted March 24, 2013 Show how much the client has recorded for the download amount then.
CrashRainbow Posted March 24, 2013 Author Report Posted March 24, 2013 My apologies; I thought the green bar to the left indicated that I had downloaded all of it. I have downloaded all 4.3 GB, and uploaded 2.9 GB.
oldybut Posted March 25, 2013 Report Posted March 25, 2013 The green bar indicates how much you have verified. The ratio is an expression of what you have downloaded and uploaded *with the current torrent addition* . For example, if you started a download with Transmission, then changed over to uTorrent/ verified and started it ---- or removed and then restarted a torrent --- then you could get some weird looking ratios. Also, you could download only *some* files contained within a large torrent (think episodes in a series) and also get funny-looking math displays.
CrashRainbow Posted March 25, 2013 Author Report Posted March 25, 2013 Ahhh right, it's probably one of those then, and not worth a full-on investigation. Thanks!
