GuitarFurrLife
When I used Win7 I didn't have any problems with the download speed at all.. I have a 1.5Mbps Optic Fiber internet connection and I used to download at ~200kb/s, after I upgraded to Win8 my download speed went down to something like ~50kb/s. I've tried the quick setup (ctrl+g), port forwarding (on my router) and many other solutions but none of them has worked.

matthewwhite011
I am surprised to read about the Windows 8 restricting the speedy downloads. I have installed it and i am not getting anything bad like this.
