Hi,

i´ve some questions

1) should I disable DHT or not?

2) the "light" flashes in green... but mostly is´s yellow - what to do?

3) probs with the port: I portforwarded 5xxxx. Often the µtorrent indicats that the port is closed. After a long time I manage to "get" the port open. I had to turn off F-secure and xp´s firewall and than turn both on. Why does µtorrent 1.5 behave like this ( 1.4 didn´t do this)

1: Is DHT giving you any problems? Do you have a Dial-Up modem? if you can answer no to both questions theres no reason to turn it off.

2: Is it only yellow when the torrents are turned off?

1) Not unless your hardware can't handle it.

2) Nothing.

3) Your firewall is misconfigured most likely, or buggy. Uninstall F-Secure and see if it works fine.

so you mean that I should surf whithout firewall? Is it really sound whithout protection?

If you have a router, it probably has hardware firewall anyway.

pelk: not exactly. If you have a router, that's probably fine enough. But in any case, uninstalling F-Secure would be to see if it's the cause. If it is, then there may be something wrong with the configuration (and you can re-install it and see if you can figure out what). And if there's no difference, then there's another problem.
