I am getting constant crashing of utserver 27079 x64 on Ubuntu 12.10. this seems to happen most when I am trying to access the webui. But does happen every 10 minutes or so otherwise. The error ( assert failed udp.cpp:138 (27079) )does not show up in the log, but gets displayed out to the terminal window you started the process in. I am using SOCKS5 proxy server ( no hostname, just IP ). I have ipv6 disabled in ubuntu. Not sure what else to add. Has anyone seen this? I have also tried with and without the -daemon option. I love uTorrent, but this is killing me.

EDIT: The only "fix" i have found is to have a wrapper script around it that just restarts it when it crashes. Torrents are more of a snowball download. So having all the connections drop every 10 minutes is not ideal.

I don't know if this matches the detail you have submitted, as I have found a simple reason for my experience with this. In my instance, I left the root directory at a default configuration and started it from a different directory this read all settings from a relative path, only they did not exist so I stopped and restarted twice and it recovered. It stored settings in the path and not where they originally were. To fix this I set the dir_root path in configfile.conf to an aboslute path and dir_request path to an absolute. Then, of course specify the configfile.conf when loading.

Regardless of the configuration settings, ultimately the dat files aren't being found and read when loading.
