rafi Posted April 16, 2013 Report Posted April 16, 2013 And this bothers you because ?... Did you try with default (empty) settings ? w/o labels?
ciaobaby Posted April 16, 2013 Author Report Posted April 16, 2013 It doesn't bother me at all, but I'm sure it will plague the hell out of some users, I'm simply reporting a problem. However three hours later, with no restarts, no change of settings the phantom has dematerialised..
rafi Posted April 16, 2013 Report Posted April 16, 2013 but I'm sure it will plague the hell out of some usersNo, it will not
ciaobaby Posted April 16, 2013 Author Report Posted April 16, 2013 You mean just like a one pixel white-space in the status bar doesn't?

Beasly Posted April 20, 2013 Report Posted April 20, 2013 People cannot be 100% right all the time....The one pixel white-space may be a minor issue but it sure looks bigger than one pixel when using a darker theme.Maybe a defensive driving class may help!..
ciaobaby Posted April 21, 2013 Author Report Posted April 21, 2013 ciaobaby, Lighten up. It's a joke. As I pointed out in an earlier post, it doesn't cause me any great concern but it will bug others should it happen to them.
ciaobaby Posted June 4, 2013 Author Report Posted June 4, 2013 Update on this 'issue'If no jobs are loaded, all persistent labels show a 'phantom' job count..Loading a single job and setting a temporary label removes the phantom job count from all persistent labels.Loading a single job and setting a persistent label removes the phantom job count from all other persistent labels. This behaviour is also in versions 3.3.0.29677, 3.3.1.29756 & 3.4.0.29765
rafi Posted June 4, 2013 Report Posted June 4, 2013 This behaviour is also in versions 3.3.0.29677, 3.3.1.29756 & 3.4.0.29765Good to finally find a consistent feature... No-jobs means that you are playing around with it... Seriously, just start *using* uTorrent ...
ciaobaby Posted June 4, 2013 Author Report Posted June 4, 2013 Seriously, just start *using* uTorrent ... winkSo given your wisdom, should I start from ver 1.6, the first version I used (and still have the installer archived) and slowly build up from there?No-jobs means that you are playing around with itDoes that infer that you have NEVER done a clean installation of various builds and added jobs steadily, just to see at what point it starts misbehaving?
rafi Posted June 4, 2013 Report Posted June 4, 2013 It means I never look for issues with zero torrents in the list view. It simply not practical/interesting/priority issue. And do whatever you want to do with build 1.6 on... like check them all, see what build it started in and tell the devs.
ciaobaby Posted June 4, 2013 Author Report Posted June 4, 2013 It means I never look for issues with zero torrents in the list view. It simply not practical/interesting/priority issue. But application testing should cover all possibilties and eventualities especially the "Nobody is ever going to do that" scenarios. (read 'ever going' as "stupid enough") because in my experience that is usually one of the first things that users try to do.I only spotted it because I added my persistent labels list before loading any jobs up.
ciaobaby Posted July 23, 2013 Author Report Posted July 23, 2013 This problem has moved on into 3.4.0.29968Only now there is only (1) job showing for all persistent labels no matter how many jobs are loaded for that label.
ciaobaby Posted September 24, 2013 Author Report Posted September 24, 2013 In 3.3.2.30131 this issue occurs when a new persistent label is added. The new label shows as Name (1) until the GUI updates, and it takes 10 update cycles to display correctly.Tested at values of 1000, 3000 and 5000 for gui.update_speedBehaviour is as expected when changing a temporary label with jobs assigned to a persistent label.
