peakbagger
Looking for a reference on proxy error connection codes. Is there one out there? I've checked the CHM and of course searching on here. Specifically, would like to know what Error-4 and Error-7 mean. Thanks!
ciaobaby
It will depend on the proxy that you are using, ask them.

I will ask them. Thanks! In case anyone runs into this, -7 indicates an authentication issue with the proxy, in this case BTGuard. Per BTGuard support, the username is case sensitive, so after correcting that my problem was resolved. I hope this helps someone. I'm sure they mention, I just don't know how to read. I went back to the setup instructions and they don't mention username case sensitivity. I think perhaps for linux/unix guru-types it's a no-brainer but for us Windozers it is not so apparent.
