1.5.1 beta build 458 keeps crashing - Help

Hi,

I installed 1.5.1 beta build 458 on top of 1.5 stable. Upon restart, I keep getting a popup message :

"utorrent has crashed, and utorrent will now restart. A crash dump has been saved as C:\....dmp (or dmp files)

do you want to submit this dump to the developers?"

I keep clicking on "No" but the message keeps coming up with a different dump file name each time.

When I revert back to 1.5 stable, everything works fine.

Would appreciate any advice.

And you've nothing listed in the Incompatible Software section of the FAQ? If not, then check this thread, and consider sending ludde a crash dump.

No, I'm not running any software as listed in the FAQ's Incompatible Software section. Besides, 1.5 stable runs without any problem so I doubt it's any incompatibility issue.

I'll proceed to send ludde the dumps.

Btw, would you know if wiping the old settings and completely reinstalling utorrent beta would help? If so, how should I go about it?

1.5 and 1.5 beta make my com restart often :-/

If your computer is restarting, turn off the automatic restart in your system properties to see what's actually at fault.

No user program can cause BSODs, only faulty hardware, drivers, and kernel-mode software (firewalls, AVs, etc).
