jimdot Posted May 2, 2013 Report Share Posted May 2, 2013 I just finished doing a fresh, clean install of uTorrent. Afterwards I went to "Default Programs\associate a file type or protocoll with a program". There is no .Torrent file type in the file types list which I expected to see after the install. Then I made the usual attempt to right click on my xxx.Torrent file & "Open with" & "Always use" routine & I still can't download a torrent. This is also on a clean fresh install of win 8 pro, working from the desktop. I have uTorrent running on another machine with win 8 pro & it works just fine.I've also uninstalled & reinstalled with the same results.Anyone with any ideas about this???
