bimboy56
Alright here's the catch:I am a noob in terms of torrent downloading. I was using bitlord and found out that its bullcrap!( i only got downloading speed problems for it though). Then i switch to utorrent and found out that it kicks ass! fast downloading and low CPU usage:... Until, i notice that whenever i'm runiing utorrent for the first 30 mins, it just works great!..but after some time though..my computer becomes choppy( you know? when your mouse is a bit laggy?)...I never experienced this kind of problem when i was using bitlord... is there some kind of a solution? is it related to the maximum UL and DL that makes my comp. choppy? i am using:WINDOWS 98 SE2.0 ghz intel celeron10/100 CNET pro200WLADSL 128k >>>>>(yep this is bull crap, but works fine:-)I am really sorryfor being a noob
Switeck
You probably exceeded max connections for Win 98. Anything over about 60 connections on a Win 98 box can cause slowdowns. Over 100, it can fold up without warning.Turning off DHT can rule out that as a problem, as DHT is of minimal value at BEST.Lastly, make sure your upload/download speeds AND upload slots are within reasonable limits for your connection.
