michaelmak_hk
Some files downloaded on torrent have file names larger than that supported by the system and is cannot be executed. I cannot even rename the file so im unable to run. I've tried using file renamer but it won't show the file. What do i do to rename it and make it run using utorrrent. the video works from utorrent player but not from windows. What do i do??
ciaobaby
Use a disc format that DOES support large files.
Kitsoran
I dunno if FAT systems have a shorter length limit than NTFS. If FAT has a shorter limit and you don't need the FS to be fat, you could use convert to change it to NTFS. Or, if you can, try saving/moving somewhere with a shorter path, like the drive itself instead of Downloads. If you can't move the files from within Windows or uT, Google may help in finding a solution. Long file name behavior on Windows can get weird. It's not something I've dealt with in a long time though, sorry.
