uTorrent 1.8.4 language problem

I place the language package in the directory but i'm unable to set italian language because there aren't all the languages in preferences

the language pack goes with the settings files, not with the program itself.

You do know we are discussing the Mac version, right? The Mac directions do say to put in the app package (the program) -- just where he said he put it.

And yet it's not working for him.

Not just him (see posting #2). I can confirm it also --- so there are three of us. I get a list of 18 languages in ver 1.9x, nowhere near what is claimed to be available.

I discovered why it doesn't work and how to solve it:

1.- Download utmac.lng file from utorrent website.

2.- If we read carefully, link info says:

To install, place utorrent.lng in /Applications/uTorrent.app/Contents/MacOS/

But we downloaded a file called utmac.lng so... next step is obvious

3.- Rename your downloaded file utmac.lng to utorrent.lng, then drag it to /Applications/uTorrent.app/Contents/MacOS/ directory.

4.- Launch uTorrent.app and now you can see all languages at preferences. Select which you want and relaunch the app.

Note: If it doesn't work first time, try a second one (be sure you rename lang file before drag it into uTorrent.app directory)

Sorry but when i re-launch the app the lng file disappear, it goes to /Library/Application Support/uTorrent directory and the languages are the same as before :/

Of course, lng file always goes to uTorrent directory at user's library.

Did you try a second time? It worked for me renaming lng file before drag it at second try.

I downloaded the language file, but the number of supported languages and claimed that different.just want to konw why.
