Andreasvb
Only Internet Explorer (and its controls) can use ActiveX.Install/Update/Enable IE and it should work again.

Ahab
Only Internet Explorer (and its controls) can use ActiveX.Install/Update/Enable IE and it should work again. Is this the official uTorrent stance? That IE is required for uTorrent or you get repeated ActiveX errors?
ciaobaby
Is this the official uTorrent stance? Andreasvb
Only a dev can answer that. You can use ActiveX independently as a control or use the one from IE.With the file size in mind I would guess they use the one from IE.
d_logan
Only Internet Explorer (and its controls) can use ActiveX.Install/Update/Enable IE and it should work again.I don't like your solution. Internet Explorer is a piece of crap and ActiveX can go to hell. I think I'd rather just look for another bittorrent client.

Beasly
Make sure that when you installed utorrent that nothing else was installed, ex: toolbar, conduit or any other added surprise....Then you can either -allow/prompt for activex in your browsers security settings or -reset your internet explorer settings to default or -try this fix from microsoft...http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2506343
