chris_h16 Posted July 25, 2013 Report Share Posted July 25, 2013 I've been using utorrent and webui for years and worked fine.I've just signed up for a proxy service and entered these details into utorrent. This has stopped the ability to add a new torrent through the webui interface. If I set proxy to none in webui settings and retry adding a new torrent it works. ciaobaby Posted July 25, 2013 Report Share Posted July 25, 2013 The proxy is only for the actual data not the admin side of webuiNope, everything to do with uTorrent communication goes through the proxy, when you set "No proxy" in the WebUI you are setting "No Proxy" in the uTorrent downloader not just the WebUI.WebUI isn't a seperate system it is EXACTLY the same thing as the desktop GUI that runs in a browser context rather than a Windows desktop context.
