Oiler1
I recently for a new PC as my old motherboard died.My old internal hard drives of C: and E: are intact.I reinstalled them in my new PC and the E: drive which contains the torrents and downloaded files is the same. The former C; drive is now my F: drive and I have a completely new C: drive.I read the migration guide and got confused.Do I simply download the new utorrent, install it and then copy over all the folders and files from my old C: drive (now F:) utorrent folder to my new utorrent folder on C:?I wish to know how to do this as properly I don't want to mess up.I have a feeling the resume.dat file is essential to keep the ratio?I cannot find this %appdata%\uTorrent data file on my old C: drive that is mentioned on these forums.Does that have anything to do with my restoring my torrent? Please help. I have windows 7 Pro now and I used to have Windows XP Home.D.
ciaobaby
I cannot find this %appdata%\uTorrent data file on my old C: drive that is mentioned on these forums. It is a hidden directory in the user profile (Documents and Setting for Windows XP) , so you will have to set "Show Hidden Files and Folders" on before you can find it.Then follow the migration guide.
