dmaksimov
Hi,I have uTorrent running on one computer and for some reason it's affect FTP, not only on that specific computer, but any other computers on that network. Whenever I turn uTorrent off on that computer, FTP works fine, but when it's on I can't seem to do anything on FTP.Any ideas why the two would be conflicting like this? Thanks. dmaksimov
FTP up or down?Just in general... It wouldn't even receive the directory listing.
ciaobaby
Do you have any bandwidth limiting in place? What version and build of uTorrent are you running? And does your FTP client time out or return an error code?
dmaksimov
Do you have any bandwidth limiting in place? What version and build of uTorrent are you running? And does your FTP client time out or return an error code?I believe it's the latest version of uTorrent. I'll double check and get back to you on that. I'm using FileZilla and here is the output after it connects to the server.Status: ConnectedStatus: Retrieving directory listing...Command: PWDResponse: 257 "/" is your current locationCommand: TYPE IResponse: 200 TYPE is now 8-bit binaryCommand: PASVError: Disconnected from server: ECONNABORTED - Connection abortedError: Failed to retrieve directory listingSometimes it would retrieve the directory listing and show up, but then I would keep getting that "Failed to retrieve directory listing" error. ciaobaby
Have you tried active move rather than passive mode?Because an abort after a PASV request is more likely to be an uncooperative firewall than another application.

It pretty sure it's not a firewall. Everything works fine without a problem until uTorrent is turned on.
