DKqwerty
I searched for a similar topic, found none. Please point me towards any threads I may have missed.I'm curious if anyone else experiences a problem that when setting a few files in a torrent to "high" priority while leaving the remaining files "normal" priority that, while they do download more quickly, the high-priority files refuse to download the final block until the normal-priority files reach around 90% completion. The only way to completely finish the high-priority files before the normal ones reach 90% is to set them not to download, wait for the final high-priority blocks to finish, then resume the normal files.Though I'm on the current build, this problem has been happening for a while. Thanks for any help.
DreadWingKnight
High priority is a preference rather than a strict rule. If availability of the pieces necessary to complete high priority files is not enough, then normal priority files may finish faster.
DKqwerty
Thanks for the response!I totally understand what you're saying, but it seems too coincidental that the final block of every high-priority file is unavailable until the others hit 90% on every torrent... right?
