I am still uploading that file with 200+ peers and being the only seed. Is it possible to go into the "files" tab, switch the priority and limit which files I upload??

No, and prioritizing like that won't improve piece distribution anyway.

Super-seed is supposed to do what you're saying -- share ONLY those pieces that no peers currently have or share only the pieces that few peers have.

Sadly, it's not functioning correctly in µTorrent at this time. The designer/s are working on it...though there's no telling how long a wait to get that working 100%.

Normal seeding should be just fine though even with those conditions IF you have set your upload slots at a reasonable number so EACH upload slot gets at least 1 KB/sec. Complete torrent chunks will get out faster if you have upload speed PER upload slot more like 5 KB/sec. Peers can only share complete chunks.

Examples:

If you're uploading at 1 KB/sec per upload slot (which is per person) and chunksize is 2 MB, then it will take over 34 minutes for those peers to complete chunks and have something new to share to each other!

At 5 KB/sec per upload slot and 2 MB chunks, it only takes 7 minutes. Less chances of sending the same chunk out multiple times that way too.

So about how many upload slots should I have? I have a max upload of 50 kB/s.
