doctor-z
I use μTorrent for many years without any problem untill now. Starting some months ago, after my web surfing, sometimes not always, when I was closing Firefox (the latest version) this message was appearing with title "Web Browser":"One or more ActiveX controls could not be displayed because either:1) Your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX controls on this page, or2) You have blocked a publisher of one of the controls. As a result, the page may not display correctly."I did a google search but nothing helped me. I noticed that rarely when μTorrent's window was poped up or closed the same message was appearing. Some days ago μTorrent updated itself to the latest beta version 3.3.2 build 30067. Then, as I had startup loading enabled, this message appeared every time I was opening my pc. I unchecked startup loading and then the message disappeared. It appears only when I run μTorrent manually. So, can anyone explain me what is going on? As the message appeared 99% after closing firefox, why it was appearing then? Was utorrent creating problem to firefox? Is that possible? How can I fix it?
ciaobaby
There are several threads about that explain how to prevent this by turning the advertising off.
