[XBMCbuntu] uTorrent run program when download finish: SortTV -Problem

Dear uTorrent Community,

i am running uTorrent server in a XBMCbuntu PC.

i installed SortTV to organize my media.

to run SortTV I type:

eyal@XBMC-PC:~$ /home/eyal/Programs/sorttv/sorttv.pl

and everything works great!

see output:

PROBLEM IS... when i set uTorrent to run SortTV when a download finish.

why Permission is denied??

see uTorrent server permissions:

eyal@XBMC-PC:~$ ls -l

uTorrent running as root.

is it a problem?

doset root have all permissions?

the filesystem still respects the per-file restrictions. In your situation, root doesn't have write access.

Don't run uTorrent as root.

But that's a given. Running applications as root should only be done in very specific circumstances anyway.
