stonker
When I'm leeching a torrent I can see all seeders with 100% of it in the peers tab. When I get the full torrent they all disappear and I can only see those under 100%. Is it because I'm now the only person seeding it or is it a display setting that's hiding anyone at 100%? ciaobaby
Now, I asked that very same question when I finally started running version 3 clients, because I was sure I had seen connected seeds on seeding jobs in earlier versions. But [obviously] there is no need to maintain a connection to seeds when your client has 100% of the payload. stonker
The responses to your post pretty much covers it. And your reasons for wanting to see them are the same as mine, knowing when a torrent is in safe hands so you can walk away. I can understand why it's designed that way but not why it can't be customised.
ciaobaby
What I do is to look at the ratio and the time taken to complete the job and if it isn't much more than overhead the resources willl serve more purpose on jobs where my client is active.but not why it can't be customised. It can .... sort of, Seeding Goal settings of:Ratio: 0Time: 10080 == 7 daysThen every few days I can look over the jobs that are stopped and change the more active ones to a ratio of -1.Or load them on the client that is running seeds only. stonker
Thanks though I havent really looked into the technical details of Utorrent so I dont really get a lot of that. I'll copy it for future reference anyway in case I ever do get to grips with the more involved stuff.
