danshe
I've been using utorrent for a long time and this problem just began. I've downloaded several torrents in the past week that didn't work. I assumed the original files were just bad and erased them. They all showed as completed files and were in seed mode.Today I accidentally discovered that the downloads weren't actually complete even though they showed that way. I removed the torrent file from utorrent and then re added it. When the software was done scanning the files it reported the files as 22% done.I've tried this with another file that wasn't working and apparently the same thing occured. Is this a utorrent problem? I'm using the site I always use.
DreadWingKnight
Have you checked your hard drive for damage?
danshe
There's no damage. I just have to remove the torrent file from utorrent when it begins seeding and add the torrent file back into utorrent. It then recalculates the percentage that's been downloaded and completes the process.Everything else works fine.
Firon
You've probably got some bad hardware if that's happening. CHeck your HDD with SpinRite, and do a Memtest86+ too.
asdaq
I've been having a similar problem as danshe while running 1.5.1, only torrents show as 100% when they are really 99.8 or 99.9% with one or two pieces missing. Stop> force recheck does the trick. It also seems to only be torrents that have had some hashfails, and I really doubt it is my hardware as I monitor that rather closely/frequently. Maybe this change is related>> "Fix: Make the after crash re-check not re-check torrents that already finished in that session" ??Any help is appreciated
