I am concerned about what I heared that uTorrent can write lots of data to a SSD drive even if i installs files on HDD and that it is due to cache folder. Can somebody make it clear for me? not about SSD behavior under writes please, but about torrent behavior.Thank you. Ajvar
Russian forum:) So it is total bullish and there is no need at all to change any settings in utorrent except the location of downloaded files and destination of completed files out of the SSD, right? If yes, then thank you for your clarification. DreadWingKnight
Yup.There is no "cache folder" for the downloads. There is only semi-regular writes to the resume state so you don't have to re-check the torrent EVERY TIME you start.
