SamC
After utorrent crashing (for a second time) and rechecking I noticed that my 95Gb downloads (five of them) have all reset to <10%So in the download column it shows 105Gb downloaded out of 95Gb.Why is this? SamC
Thanx for the response.Any way to prevent this from happening in the future? Would backing up the .dat file be of any use? How would I know I'm not backing up a corrupt .dat file? Are there any means of checking/validating?I'm currently on week four of these downloads, it's starting to test my patients.Regards. SamC
Thought I could save a download by extracting what had fully downloaded and downloading the rest.Turns out utorrent has corrupted the entire files - about 1/2TB worth of data. What a complete waste of my fucking time.If you're new to utorrent and reading this - be warned. Try some of the other torrent clients out there. This piece of shit is now uninstalled. Would backing up the .dat file be of any use?If you backup immediately before shutting down the client cleanly it will NOT be corrupt.it's starting to test my patients.I hope it has a licence for such testing
