Forward a port in a no router connection

I hope some one can help...I just start using uTorrent few months ago when I moved to China...it was working ok, but with the yellow triangle in the corner. Yesterday, I tried to download a new torrent but nothing...now the triangle is red the run speed test failed and so on. I understand that I need to open a port for the firewall and on my router...I'm not using any router, I had trouble using wi-fi and ended using the the Ethernet cable, how do I open ports for this kind of connection??/

In that case .... there is a router somewhere.
