Android123
Anyone tried it? Do they care if you torrent and can they find out? When they say you have 3 hours on it for free, do they mean you get 3 hours every day or 3 hours then you get kicked off but you can re-join after? Thanks! ciaobaby
Ask them, or read their T&C fully.
Android123
Ask them, or read their T&C fully.Seems like nothing but how will I be sure? I think any company would be against software piracy.
ciaobaby
Why?Just using a bittorrent client isn't automatically engaging in software piracy, or copyright theft.

Beasly
To be honest, I do pirate software using utorrent. The software you use is technically not illegal to use....It is how you use it...LOL!!!..If I were a betting alien I would have to say that the majority of users have been and are using utorrent and alike are downloading cracked software, copyright material (tv shows, movies, etc.) or for porn. Hopefully someone who has used cyberghost before replies so it'll save me the trouble.
ciaobaby
This is a forum for uTorrent specific issues so your question would get better responses at a forum specifically for that VPN, if they have one or at a general torrenting discussion board. However the answer IS ALWAYS going to be ..."Yes, but you cannot pirate software"Because it is illegal and cannot and will not be condoned by ANY responsible operator. Android123
They said no you can't pirate software but they claim to keep no logs. Does that mean they can't see what you download but they just don't want you pirating? In other words, does that mean they say not pirating but don't enforce the rule? I'm sorry I'm asking here, too scared to ask this particular question on their forum.
ciaobaby
It means what it actually says. They don't keep logs of what you do. However, if you get caught distributing illegal material it's your problem, and it won't be because of anything they did. It's also known as arse-covering because if they have no proof of illegal activities, they cannot be held responsible for; or as accessories to; the criminal action. Finally I found something interesting on their forums written by staff...Also, as we can't identify Users which try to do or are actually doing illegal things, we even can't block such users ... But we're ok with that!
