boooost Posted May 14, 2006 Report Posted May 14, 2006 Ok, I ran out of room on my master HD, so I bought a new one and installed it and everythigns fine. Now I want to have all my torrents on the slave. I just moved the whole directory to the slave, and changed the folder preferances in utorrent. The problem is, it refuses to auto load the torrents now. I was trying to figure it out so I deleted the extention ".loaded" from the torrent files, and then it loaded them. Even so it was saying that several files that I know for a fact are 100% done are 0%. Its really driving me nuts because I didnt really change anything except put the director somewhere else and I changed the stuff in the folder preferances for utorrent, so it doesnt make sense that it just goes nuts now.Im going to go and try to reinstall utorrent maybe that will help?
boooost Posted May 14, 2006 Author Report Posted May 14, 2006 ok it seems like I got it to work, except the only way I can keep it working I think is to keep all the finished files in the "downloading" file. Which kinda sucks. I dont get why utorrent is just moving them to the finished file like its supposed to.
Firon Posted May 14, 2006 Report Posted May 14, 2006 The options in Folders are not retroactive. You have to manually use "Set download location" for every single torrent you moved.
boooost Posted May 16, 2006 Author Report Posted May 16, 2006 thank you sir. I think everything is setup fine now, I lost a couple of files but w/e. One more problem though, utorrent is not moving completed downloads like it should, its just leaving htem in the downloading file for some reason..?
Firon Posted May 17, 2006 Report Posted May 17, 2006 Well, it only applies to torrents that finish after you set that setting. I think it also can't move the files while seeding...
