Scipoten
I have version 1.5. How do I resume downloading my torrents after the torrent file was removed? I had to reinstall my OS and I saved only what I wanted. I saved the file destination, the torrent files, partial files, and the %AppData% from Documents and Settings. After I reinstalled, I transferred the folders and files back to their original locations and tried to resume downloading, except now the torrents were missing from the client. Then I went to File->Add Torrent... and added the torrent I wanted. Instead of the torrent resuming, it wanted to start over. I have a bunch of partial files that are useless to me unless I resume them, and I don't want to start all these files over again.
µtorrent-Guest
you need to "tell" µT that you already have some content of the files downloaded. You do this by performing a "force Re check" before starting the torrent, so that he is aware of the already downloaded pieces. It's Simple. Inf
No forced recheck needed, when ut ask for download destination, just make sure you point it to the same place you have the previous partial downloads in, it will recheck by itself and continue the download. Firon
Not if you use "Set download location". If you specify the right folder when adding the torrent, it will auto re-check, but if you use "Set download location", you'll have to force a re-check.
