Cannot find the file specified (ReadFromDisk)

I have a very large torrent downloading and several times it has stopped with the error "Error: The system cannot find the file specified. (ReadFromDisk). This is very annoying.

If I resume the torrent, it chugs along nicely for a while, but eventually fails again. The download is growing when it's working.

I cannot find any way to see what file that it cannot find, so I can't troubleshoot this issue. Is there a way to determine what file caused the error?

Items worth noting:

- Several other torrents are also running to the same download directory and they do not fail when this one does.

- No antivirus software is running, so files are not being locked or deleted in the background.

- No programs other than uTorrent are processing files in the download directory.

- This is an internal hard drive, not a network share or external drive.

- There are no errors in the Windows log showing issues with the hardware.

- I'm running uTorrent 3.3.2 build 30180 (32bit) on Windows 7 Pro 64 bit.

Any help out there?

And read about the other possible cause in the manual.

Unfortunately that did not help either.

One item worth mentioning (although not for my particular issue) is whether the hard drives are set to go to sleep after a period of time. They may wake up to slowly when uTorrent is trying to update the file.
