Activation error connection closed by peer

I tried installing the uTorrent bundle with key, did not work, only installed the regular version. Tried activating it with the key but get an error.

Activation error connection closed by peer.

I have also uninstalled and re-downloaded uTorrent(btkey,https^3A^2F^2Futp.st^2F1zkRUUTa).exe

an reinstalled. still getting same error.

I am running WinXP
