martinjose
Hello everyone,For the past few months I have been enjoying downloading torrents quickly, I say around 5 minutes to 30 minutes is the range of my download time. Speed's ok and I was satisfied. This morning, however, I noticed that the torrents I'm downloading since yesterday are not being downloaded properly. A download percentage of 1.7% is very unusual for me especially that it has been a day. I have five torrents and none of them are progressing at all. From MB of a download speed, now download speed fluctuates from 0.9kB/s to around 2.7kB/s. TOTALLY NOT MY USUAL DOWNLOAD SPEED.I can't say it's my internet speed because I've been surfing on the web fine. I haven't changed anything on my computer settings nor have I done anything on my firewall or router. The status for DHT, Local Peer Directory and Peer Exchange in the Trackers tab are all working. My bandwidth number of connections have always been 200, 50, 4.My DNS is GoogleDNS -- have always been this -- both on my internet settings and utorrent settings.I am using a wireless internet and I have Kaspersky for a firewall (I haven't changed settings for either of these. I also just checked my firewall and utorrent is ok).My syster information:OS Name Microsoft Windows 8Version 6.2.9200 Build 9200Other OS Description Not AvailableOS Manufacturer Microsoft CorporationSystem Manufacturer ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC.System Model X202ESystem Type x64-based PCSystem SKU ASUS-NotebookSKUProcessor Intel® Core i3-2365M CPU @ 1.40GHz, 1400 Mhz, 2 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s)BIOS Version/Date American Megatrends Inc. What happened? Why did it all of a sudden just DRAMATICALLY slowed its download speed? And by slow I mean from MB of a speed to 0.9kB/s. I appreciate the help.
