Shalmaneser Posted December 4, 2013 Report Share Posted December 4, 2013 I have two seed torrents. 1st has been running with no problems, about to complete. Created a second seed torrent. Only difference that I can see is that it asked about including hidden files, I included them. Created it, loaded it. 1st torrent is seeding fine, 2nd torrent is showing as "downloading". Huh? ciaobaby Posted December 4, 2013 Report Share Posted December 4, 2013 That would depend on what the "hidden" files were/are.If one was/is "thumbs.db" and you open the folder in Windows Explorer, that file will be modified every time, so the torrent payload will be changed and will fail the hashsum.You should exclude hidden files when seeding complete folders, because these are normally system files used by Windows to hold information on how to present the folder in an Explorer view (thumbs.db and desktop.ini) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
