Uploading private files - offsite backup

I'm transferring backup files from one system to another via uTorrent. I've investigated shaping with Glasnost, no indication of shaping.

What should I set the max for this server? I want to max the traffic for uTorrent with no other usage during uploading. The only connection parameter changed from default is set forced encryption. As you can see, traffic is very irregular.

This is on wildblue.net, a metered satellite service. I would have captured a shot set to 25 mb/s but the unmetered window just closed for the day.

As you can see, traffic is very irregular.

BitTorrent is NOT a constant rate protocol.

Set the graph resolution to "5 minutes" if you want to see a 'flatter' graph.

I want to max the traffic for uTorrent with no other usage during uploading.

set it to unlimited stop all other uTorrent tasks, shutdown EVERY other service, application and process on the machine that may use bandwidth/data transfer.

Throughput still seems on the low side given the capabilities of the pipe.
