3.3.1 won't update itself

Running 3.3.1 build 30017 32-bit on a Windows 7 64-bit OS with no troubles. Downloads and uploads work fine, no weird proxies or special settings.

Today I tell it to check for updates. A few seconds later it pops up a dialog asking if I want to update to 3.3.2. I click yes.

The "do you really want to exit uT?" dialog pops up, as expected. I click yes.

The entire program goes away. Nothing else happens, no uT-related processes are running. Eventually I launch uT again, and it's still 3.3.1. Trying the whole thing again just repeats the same steps.

For a lark, I try again and tell it "no" when it asks if I want to exit. A few seconds later I get an error dialog saying "uT is already running, try again". But after clicking OK there, the entire program is gone again and never updates nor relaunches.

Before I just download the current version and install it by hand, is there anything on my end that I need to change to prevent this from working in the future?

Er, sorry, brain fart. That should have been either "to prevent it happening" or "to make this working", and apparently I tried typing both at once!

The the problems with shutdown and failing to update is fixed in recent builds of 3.3.2
