shokan
Where is the setting in uTorrent that enables the .torrent file to download to the correct folder (Windows 7)? Somehow I got that path changed and it now downloads to my Downloads folder, which does not automatically open uTorrent.
DreadWingKnight
If it doesn't do automatic loading when you click a link, it's a browser setting.
shokan
Right. Thanks. Right click .torrent file > Open with > uTorrent (Always open with...). I must be more tired than I thought.

What you said about browser is correct. Firefox > Tools > Options > Applications tab > TORRENT file in list Action dropdown > Use uTorrent (default). andreaphilli
In uTorrent at Options>Preferences>Directories. If you want to change the download location for an active torrent, stop the torrent, right-click the torrent in uTorrent and select Advanced>Set Download Location. Hope it helps .
