acustic
I'm using 3.2.2 b30303.First I had the disk overload issue which I solved by changing the automatic cache size to 1700 as suggested on other posts on this forum but now I'm downloading too fast to the point where utorrent would just crash. It can handle speeds up to 55mb/s so I used the limit option to cap it at 50.000kb but it still goes above and crashes. Any suggestions?
ciaobaby
I solved by changing the automatic cache size to 1700 as suggested on other posts on this forum Not by anyone who knows a bit about running uTorrent.Set your cache to a MAXIMUM of 512MB if you DON'T want uTorrent to keep on crashing. acustic
I still get overloads with that value.
ciaobaby
"Disc Overloads" are of minimal importance and nothing to be overly concerned about. What type of drive interface are you writing to?
acustic
It's not that they concern me, but it kills my download speed. It's SATA. And the main issue I'm inquiring about is why my download limit isn't limiting like a proper limit should.
ciaobaby
And the main issue I'm inquiring about is why my download limit isn't limiting like a proper limit should. There are several posts/threads that document how to make rate limiting work as expected. And at least one that explains how changing the speed graph resolution can stop the "Overload" 'problem'
acustic
So basically "there are other posts with this information" is the closest thing to saying "no further assistance will be provided" without saying the actual words. I won't even bother any more, there has to be a working client out there.
ciaobaby
Nis the closest thing to saying "no further assistance will be provided" No it means don't be so ******** lazy and use the forum search, because another post repeating the same information just adds to the forum noise!
