holdout Posted December 13, 2013 Report Share Posted December 13, 2013 Currently uTorrent can check/verify a symbolically linked file just fine, however the torrent itself errors out saying that the file cannot be found and asks to re-check all the time.Symbolic links are good if the user has multiple torrents of the same data file, whereby the torrents do not share the same file name. If you use sub-folders for torrents' contents similar names shouldn't bother you. You can always enter a different sub-folder name is it already exists.BTW, I do use a symbolic link for the %appdata folder tho... see my tips below...
