Blrp
I just renamed the folder where I store all .torrents and downloads, from name1 to name2. I went into preferences->directories and changed all locations there, and I changed the download location (right click->advanced), but uTorrent is still trying to open the torrent files from the old location. On the status bar, it says "Error: Can't open .torrent file: path\name1\torrentname.torrent". How do I change that? (I've tried to force recheck, does nothing.) DreadWingKnight
change the storage folder back. The preferences aren't retroactive to already-loaded tasks.
ciaobaby
Change the name of the directory back to the original, then put ALL the .torrent back in it.You can change the store location whenever you want BUT it does NOT get applied retrospectively to running jobs. JMJimmy
Is there another solution to this problem? I had Win8 corrupt profile issue so had to move all my files to a new user, this changed the download location and I'm in the middle of a 380gb transfer - is there no way of using the existing data downloaded to continue? Even by deleting the torrent and restarting + force recheck or something?
