pickthenimp
uTorrent and my torrent sites show I am not connectable, but I am still able to download and upload at the same rates. I have sucessfuly forwarded my port in the past, and had no problems, however I recently added a switch and this problem has begun. My switch is simply an old router with dhcp turned off, and I am trying to figure out if it's firewall is giving me the nat issues. Any help would be appreciated, thanks! Ultima
http://bt.degreez.net/firewalled.htmlSo it'd be best if you got rid of that unconnectable status, regardless of whether you're getting the same speeds as before. Check if you can forward ports or whatever in that "switch"/router.
µtorrent-Guest
If it's a Router, than its not a Switch! :-)http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Routershttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Network_switchIf it has NAT capabilities than it has its own IP and you mus use the IP stuff regarding to this extra subnet!Easiest thing would be just to buy a "real" switch: tiny SoHo 8 port pieces for less then 15 bugs. (in germany)With this equipment no need to worry bout subnets in your LAN.Edit:Added wiki links
