I was Trying to install utorrent server on Centos 6.5 64bit with this tutorial :

http://blog.kxr.me/2013/08/stand-alone-utorrent-server-x64-64bit.html

it seems it worked. output of "utsctl status" is :

Utorrent seems to be running, PID 8972

but when I put the "http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8080/gui/" in the browser, I got this error :

The connection has timed out. The server at xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is taking too long to respond.

xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is my ip address...

can anyone helping me out on this?

thanks...

To be absolutely sure - can you try 127.0.0.1 in place of xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx? Lets make sure you can access the WebUI on the same computer that is running utserver.

I would also ensure that xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is your LAN IP address and not your WAN IP. (Typically 192.168.xxx.xxx or 10.xxx.xxx.xxx or 172.16-31.xxx.xxx)
