Pablo305
Hi all. I have a problem with a torrent I made. Two days ago I had Windows 8 on my computer, but I didn't like it much so I decided to format my PC and install Windows 7 Ultimate. I didn't want to lose some of my files, so I created a torrent. I had never created a torrent before so maybe I did something wrong. Here's the problem: When I download it from mediafire (that's where I uploaded it), it goes to uTorrent (ofcourse) but never starts downloading, It says "Connecting to peers" and it's been like that for like 3 hours. I did a quick google search and found out that I had to put some trackers(when I created the torrent I didn't put any trackers on it, I didn't even know what they were). After that, I edited the torrent at http://torrenteditor.com/ and added 3 trackers. Again, I download the new file and still doesn't work. PLEASE I have some important stuff in it, PLEASE HELP ME .If this helps... the size is: 45.5 GB.Need more info? tell me and I'll give it to you. Thanks in advance. Andreasvb
And where did/do you host all files, or, where is the seeder with all the files? The .torrent-file itself only contains metadata, info about what files it should download. As DWK said, your files are most likely gone, unfortunately. Also, there's nothing wrong with Windows 8, easily the best one yet. You don't need to use Modern UI if you don't want.

Maybe like what I did earlier, editing it or something.

Andreasvb
By pointing the torrent to the folder that contains your files it should download.

Andreasvb
You first need the files you want to host. When you're the only seeder you can't delete the files, as no one else have them yet.
