Guest djchristian
utorrent sets files and folders as READ ONLY which it haven't done in earlier revisions. I haven't noticed until recently it but trying to move the folders and files within them with Total Commander i get a popup window saying the files are READ ONLY. Moving them manually within Windows Explorer works without problems except in the above mentioned program. I tried downloading a torrent through qBittorrent and i didn't notice any of those problems neither with Total commander nor Windows Explorer. Doing a fresh install of utorrent didn't prevent it setting the files as Read ONLY so i wonder what have happened in the recent versions to change this behaviour? Guest djchristian
Change the setting in advanced. Thanks! I guess it's bt.read_only_on_complete. I should set it to false?Did this change in version 3.3? Prior utorrent did not set it to read only on complete? Is it because of this as another said in another thread?"But do not forget that it is a safeguard against other applications changing files, thus avoiding your client 'poisoning' the swarm with hash fails."
